Getting Started after Breast Surgery
Here are a few tips that
will help you on your first visit to Komfort & Kare.
1) Your first official visit is likely to be 6 weeks after surgery. Before then,
we invite you to visit our home health center, to become familiar with us and the
center.
2) When it’s time for your appointment, call ahead to schedule a time with one of
our professionals. We are not usually backed up, since we have typically have
multiple professionals available.
3) Bring along your diagnosis and prescription.
4) Also have your primary and secondary (if applicable) insurance cards.
5) Wear a form-fitting top, so you’re sure to select the prosthesis that looks
best on you.
6) Ask us lots of questions about the different kinds of prostheses available, so
we select the one that’s right for you.
7) We will special order any items that are not readily available.
